SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainability is important to us so we wanted to make sure we were transparent on where we stand and what our plans are for the future.

To be clear, we are not a fully sustainable beauty brand - and we're not sure a beauty brand could ever truly be sustainable but here's our take on it...

Clear Skin Days Icon list to show our products are made with 12 raw ingredients or less, we are vegan, fragrance free and cruelty free

FORMULATIONS + SUPPLY CHAIN

Ingredients - we're not a single or hero ingredient skincare brand, we have complex formulas made up of highly efficacious ingredients BUT we keep our ingredient inclusion to 12 raw ingredients or under, per product - minimising the impact on your skin barrier, the supply chain demand, reducing potential waste and keeping the products simple.

We only work with suppliers who have the highest ethical standards for their sourcing, supply chain and working conditions for their people. We are fully compliant with EU production standards.

ANIMAL FRIENDLY SKINCARE

We don't test on animals - we will never test on animals and we will never support such practises.

We are reviewing Leaping Bunny and PETA certifications to see what we need to do to achieve accreditation. As a small brand, its taking us a little longer to get these things in place but we are on it!

PACKAGING

Currently, 95% or our main packaging is recyclable - we've been working with our suppliers to make better decisions + improve in this area. In August 2021, we changed our pack shape so it had the same volume of product, but used less plastic. We also moved away from packs that had pumps (metallised springs) and all our packaging is now fully recyclable apart from the sachets for our Blemish Repair Patches. Its not ideal - the patches are such a great product and work so well on reducing breakouts, so we are working really closely with our supply partner to get this resolved.

Our cartons are FSC certified and fully recyclable - we've chosen to minimise the decoration on the carton (removed the spot varnishes on the logo for example) so that all our cartons take less energy to recycle.

EMMISION MANAGEMENT

We are also working on our impact from a Carbon perspective and looking at how quickly we can become Carbon neutral. We're aiming to have something to share with you in 2023

OUR FUTURE COMMITMENT

We are continually striving to do better with our packaging, sourcing and our impact on the planet. This such an important part of our business - it's not a journey as it never ends - its about working together to ensure improvements are continuous.

We are nowhere near perfect but we are working on being better!
